Trabzonspor have secured the signing of highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Chioma Olise, adding another promising talent to their ranks.
The 19-year-old, who displayed her what she’s made of while with Edo Queens in the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL), is set for a new challenge in the Turkish Women’s Super Lig, Footballrover reports.

The club has handed her the number 16 jersey as she prepares to make her mark in European football.
Having emerged as one of Nigeria’s brightest prospects, Olise’s transition to Trabzonspor is expected to accelerate her development on the international stage.
Before making the switch, the Super Falcons midfielder played a crucial role in Edo Queens’ historic 2023/24 NWFL Premiership success under coach Moses Aduku.
She also contributed to their WAFU B Champions League title victory.

Olise’s journey to the Turkish Super Lig side has been an incredible one.
She started her professional career with Royal Queens before earning a move to Edo Queens, where she gained recognition.
On the international stage, she was a key player for the Falconets in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, scoring once in four matches before Nigeria’s quarter-final exit.
In 2024, she earned a Super Falcons call-up and featured in Nigeria’s double-header against Algeria.
