Netherlands Coach tactical changes in the second half of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Quarter Final match against Argentina almost swung the pendulum of victory to his favour.
Attacking maestro, Wout Weghorst, was brought in for Memphis Depay in 78 minutes of the second half.
Wout Weghorst did not only reduced the goal tally to 1-2 in the 83 minutes of the second half of the match, he also equalized the game for Netherlands in 11th minute of extra time of the second half of the match played at Lusail Iconic Stadium, Lusail, Qatar.

Wout Weghorst put in one of the all-time great World Cup substitute appearances to take this game to extra-time, but once again Argentina prevail on penalties
Nehuel Molina had shot Argentina ahead in the 35th minutes of the first half of the match after receiving a pass from Argentine Super Star, Lionel Messi.
The PSG Super Star – Lionel Messi, made it 2-0 in favour of the South Americans in 83rd minutes of the second half of the match.
The match still ended 2-2 after 30 minutes of extra time, and went into Penalties.
Argentina scored four out of five penalties, while Netherlands converted only three out of five penalties to end the match 4-3 in favour of Argentina.
