The 27-year-old Super Eagles midfielder has committed to a five-year contract with The Cottagers, extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2028.

Initially pursuing Lucas Ocampos, Fulham shifted its focus to Iwobi after negotiations with the Sevilla star fell apart.

When asked about his choice to join the West London side, Iwobi credited Coach Marco Silva’s influence.

Iwobi acknowledged that Marco Silva spoke to him about the ambitions of the club, and that he’s now on board. He also expressed his hope that he could bring something meaningful to the club.

Iwobi is now reunited with his Super Eagles teammate, Calvin Bassey, at the London club.
