This victory helps Tanzania consolidate their second position in the group with 7 points after five rounds of matches.

Algeria leads the group with an impressive 12 points after four rounds of matches.

Unfortunately for the local football fans at Kigali Pele Stadium in Rwanda, the home team suffered a disappointing 0-2 loss to Mozambique in their Group L encounter.

Mozambique demonstrated their dominance by scoring a goal in each half, sealing a famous away victory.

Geny Catamo opened the scoring for Mozambique in the 43rd minute of the first half, while Clesio Bauquo further increased their lead to 0-2 in favor of the visiting team during the four minutes of second half extra time.
