Enugu Rangers continued their strong push for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title with a solid 2-0 away victory over Bayelsa United in Yenagoa on Sunday, maintaining their lead at the top of the table.
The Flying Antelopes took control of the contest with goals in both halves, Footballrover reports.

Chidiebere Nwobodo opened the scoring shortly after the half-hour mark, giving the visitors a deserved advantage.
Godwin Obaje then wrapped up the win late on, finding the net with just five minutes remaining to secure all three points.
With that result, the Coal City side stay top of the NPFL standings on 62 points from 36 matches, keeping their title hopes firmly on track.
Second-placed Rivers United kept the pressure on the leaders with an impressive 3-0 win over their visitors Abia Warriors.
Wasiu Falolu broke the deadlock early in the second half, finishing from Handsome Surveyor’s well-placed header.
Timothy Zacharia doubled the lead with a composed strike before Bello Babatunde capped off the performance with a stunning long-range effort in the closing minutes.
The win keeps the Pride of Rivers just one point behind Rangers, setting up a tense finish to the season as they prepare for a key clash against Wikki Tourist in Jos.
In Ibadan, Shooting Stars climbed to third after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Nasarawa United.
Lucky Emmanuel struck twice inside the opening 24 minutes, but Nasarawa fought back through JoFrank Istifanus and Habibu Alakija.
However, Qamar Adegoke sealed the win for Shooting Stars with a late goal just before stoppage time.
Elsewhere, Enyimba boosted their survival hopes with a 2-1 comeback win over Remo Stars in Aba.
After conceding early to Victor Mbaoma, Stanley Dimgba equalised before Chidera Michael scored the winner early in the second half.
Kun Khalifat also earned a crucial 2-1 win over Kano Pillars to move out of the bottom three, thanks to a stoppage-time strike after both sides had traded late goals.
Warri Wolves edged Plateau United 1-0 in Ozoro through Tejiri Emonena’s first-half strike, while Barau FC delivered one of the biggest wins of the round, beating El-Kanemi Warriors 3-0 with goals from Sunday Anthony, Henry Ezeonye, and Joseph Atule.
