Al Hilal edged past Al Qadsiah in a seven-goal thriller that had everything — early dominance, a fightback, penalties, and a late scare.

Al Bandari Mobarak looked unstoppable in the first half, striking twice inside six minutes (30’ and 36’) to give Hilal a flying 2-0 lead.

But just when it looked like a comfortable night, Lea Le Garrec pulled one back for Al Qadsiah women before the break, sparking belief.

That belief grew stronger after the restart. Adriana’s 59th-minute equaliser stunned the home crowd, but Hilal hit back almost instantly.

Asisat Oshoala calmly buried a penalty in the 62nd minute to put the hosts back in front before Jessica Silva made it 4-2 with a classy finish in the 74th.

Even then, Qadsiah weren’t done. Deep into stoppage time, Dzsenifer Marozsán curled home to make it 4-3, but in the end, it finished that way as Hilal held on—a reminder that in this league, no lead is ever truly safe.

It’s a new league; first goal — Asisat Oshoala in Al Hilal’s 4-3 win over Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Arabia Women’s League.
