Tanzanian giants Simba Queens have made a royal acquisition as the reigning champions have snatched up Nigerian midfield maestro Precious Onyinyechi Christopher from local rivals Yanga Princess.

The 22-year-old playmaker, with a knack for creating magic on the pitch, has inked a two-year deal with rhe Tanzanian women’s football league side, Footballrover reports.

Known for her eye for goal and ability to unlock defences, Christopher was a standout for Yanga Princess, netting three times and providing one assist last season.

But the lure of Simba Queens, with their continental ambitions, proved too strong to resist.

The move reunites Christopher with the CAF Women’s Champions League, a stage she graced during her time with Nigerian powerhouse Rivers Angels.

Now, she’s back for more, this time donning the colours of Simba Queens as they prepare to battle it out with PVP Buyenzi, Kawempe Muslim Ladies, and FAD Djibouti in Group B of the CECAFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

Simba Queens are clearly building a formidable force to snatch the CAF title, and the acquisition of Christopher is a major coup.

With her talent and experience, the former NWFL star is set to be a cornerstone of the team as they chase domestic and continental glory.
