Rafiu Durosinmi Extends Scoring Run With Decisive Goal in Viktoria Plzen Win

Super Eagles prospect Rafiu Durosinmi continued his fine form this season, scoring the decisive goal that earned Viktoria Plzen a hard-fought 1–0 win over Bohemians 1905 in their Czech First League encounter on Saturday afternoon.

The 22-year-old forward broke the deadlock in the ninth minute at the Stadion Dolívek in Praha, firing home what proved to be the only goal of the 1. Liga Round 12 clash, Footballrover reports.

Rafiu Durosinmi’s Early Strike Lifts Viktoria Plzen

His early effort gave the visitors a crucial edge in a cagey contest that later saw Bohemians finish with ten men.

The turning point came in the 67th minute when Eric Ramirez was shown a straight red card after a rough challenge, leaving Bohemians struggling to get back into the game.

Despite late pressure, Plzen held firm to secure all three points.

Nigerian Forward Extends Scoring Streak

While Durosinmi grabbed the headlines for his match-winning contribution, his compatriot Nelson Okeke also featured for Bohemians, lasting 82 minutes before being substituted for Simon Černý.

The goal marked Durosinmi’s third consecutive scoring appearance, following his strike in the 3–0 victory over Malmö FF and another in the thrilling 3–3 draw with Hradec Králové.

The Nigerian now boasts five league goals and ten goals in 18 matches across all competitions this season — an impressive tally for the young forward.

The result means Viktoria Plzen are now unbeaten in three matches, recording two wins and a draw.

Despite the victory, they remain fourth in the Czech First League table with 19 points, but confidence is growing as they prepare for their upcoming UEFA Europa League clash with AS Roma.
