Niger Tornadoes have received a major boost ahead of their crucial NPFL fixture against Kano Pillars after the chairman of the Niger State Sports Commission, Danjuma Abdul Masu, visited the team during training in Minna.

The visit came as Tornadoes intensified preparations for the weekend clash scheduled to take place at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Footballrover reports.

During his interaction with players and officials, Masu expressed concern over the club’s recent performances in the NPFL, urging the squad to respond positively in their upcoming match.

The sports administrator made it clear that the current form of the Ikon Allah Boys does not reflect the expectations of supporters across the state.

He encouraged the players and the technical crew to take responsibility and restore confidence among fans.

Masu reminded the squad that the club holds a strong emotional connection with the people of Niger State and must work hard to bring back winning momentum.

To motivate the squad ahead of the clash with Pillars, Masu announced a financial incentive for the team.

NTornadoes will receive a winning bonus of one million naira if they defeat the Sai Masu Gida this weekend.

He also revealed an additional reward of ₦100,000 for every goal scored in the match, a move designed to encourage an attacking approach from the side.

Masu further pledged that the team would receive double match bonuses if they secure victory in any away fixture.

With the incentives in place, Niger Tornadoes will be hoping to rise to the occasion when they host Kano Pillars at the Bako Kontagora Stadium.
