Costly errors by two Man United players, defender Harry Maguire and goalkeeper David De Gea, saw the team exit the UEFA Europa League in the knockout stage of the competition.
The second leg match of the Europa League game played at Ramon Sanchez Pizyjuan, in Spain, saw Sevilla cruise to a 5-2 win on aggregate on Thursday night.
Moroccan international and Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri was the highest beneficiary of last night’s comedy of errors by Man United players, as he respectively scored the first and third goals for Sevilla in the 8th and 81st minutes of the encounter.

En-Nesyri intercepted Harry Maguire, goalkeeper David De Gea’s hasty clearance in the defense, and the eighteen-yard box to score both goals for Sevilla.
Loic Bade headed in a cross inside Manchester United’s eighteen-yard box for the second goal for Sevilla in the 47th minute of the second half.
Sevilla is the UEFA Europa League record holder and will continue its quest to win the continental trophy for the seventh time after defeating the Erik Ten Hag men 5-2 on aggregate to qualify for the semi-final of the football championship.
In the semifinals, Sevilla will play Juventus, who defeated CP Sporting 2-1 overall, with the Spanish team playing the away leg first.
Prior to that, they have a La Liga match against Villarreal, while Man United needs to rapidly move past this abysmal performance before their FA Cup semifinal match against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
