At the Wanda Metropolitano, the first half belonged to the hosts, with Joao Felix heading a great effort in off the post early on to give the Spanish side the lead.

Just before the halftime, Vrsaljko hit the crossbar with a header.

Griezmann also hit the crossbar with a late curler, and Oblak stopped Lingard a game-winning goal with the final ball.
