The Nigerian forward’s impressive brace not only handed her team their third league win of the season but also showed her growing impact in Liga F, where she now stands as one of Granada’s most important players, Footballrover reports.

In Granada’s previous outing, Imade had already made her mark with a penalty goal, although it wasn’t enough to avoid a narrow 2-1 defeat to Real Betis.

Her back-to-back scoring efforts have now lifted her season tally to five goals in eight appearances, equalling the record of Atletico Madrid’s Rasheedat Ajibade.

Only Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas (7) and Ewa Pajor (9) have found the net more times as the 24-year-old continues to show her rapid rise among Liga F’s elite scorers.

Already surpassing last season’s total of five goals, which she achieved over 28 appearances, Imade’s form is a promising development for Granada.

Recognised for her work rate, she dominated Sevilla’s defence for 83 minutes, recording five shots and earning the title of Player of the Match for her determined display.

The match began with Alexia Fernandez opening the scoring in the 24th minute, finding the net with a perfectly executed volley that left Sevilla’s goalkeeper helpless.

Imade then took centre stage just before halftime, doubling Granada’s lead with a powerful volley from a tight angle after a precise right-wing pass.

Shortly after the restart, Imade nearly scored again but saw her close-range effort was thwarted by the goalkeeper for a corner.

Undeterred, she continued to press and, within four minutes, connected with a deep cross to deliver her brilliant header into the post to secure all three points for her side.

Despite the victory, Granada remains in ninth place with nine points, only one point behind Sevilla.

With three wins and five losses this season, the team continues to battle their way up, and it’s likely that Imade’s form could be crucial as they seek to climb the league standings.
