From the opening whistle, the game pulsated with energy, with Madiba FC dominating the goal-scoring opportunities in the first half, Footballrover reports.

Dada Oladimeji, NNL’s leading goal scorer, put in a stunning performance by netting a spectacular free kick in the 18th minute, further solidifying his position with an impressive total of nine goals.

However, Smart City FC refused to be outdone, as Ibrahim Fuad seized a crucial moment in the 38th minute, leveling the scoreline and setting the stage for a fiercely contested second half.

Looking ahead, coach Solomon Bala will now guide the Oshodi Boys to yet another thrilling local derby, this time against 1472 FC, scheduled for Friday, April 5th, 2024.
