Beyond Limits Football Academy are through to the B17E final of the Gothia Cup 2025 after a dramatic 4-2 win on penalties against Right to Dream, five-time champions of the tournament.

The thrilling semi-final at the SKF Arena saw Musa Imran give Beyond Limits an early lead in the 5th minute.

The match took a turn in the 55th minute when Abdullahi Abubakar Bolakale was shown a second yellow card, reducing the Nigerian side to 10 men.

Just a minute later, Kouakou Arthur Israel Oume equalised for the Ghanaians to make it 1-1.

However, Beyond Limits held their ground and emerged victorious in the penalty shootout.

They will now face ASEC Mimosas in the grand final at Gamla Ullevi.

Musa Imran remains their top scorer with four goals, while the team has netted 20 goals in the tournament, conceding just three—an incredible defensive and attacking record.

Sporting Supreme Blaze Through to B18 Final After Goal Rush

Meanwhile, Sporting Supreme FC also kept the Nigerian flag flying high, booking a place in the B18 final of the Gothia Cup 2025 after a string of impressive results.

In an all-Nigerian quarterfinal clash against Mailantarki Care Sport FC, the game ended 1-1 in regulation time after Ebrima Manneh and Adagharagba Okiemute Godstime scored on either side.

The game went to penalties, with Sporting Supreme winning a tense shootout 9-8.

They followed that up with a commanding 4-1 win over Lostock St Gerards in the quarterfinal before thrashing Onsala BK 6-0 in the semi-final.

Next up is Varbergs BoIS FC in the B18 final, also to be played at Gamla Ullevi.

Nigerian Eagles Soar Through Gothia Cup Knockouts

Another Nigerian team, the Nigerian Eagles, are flying high in the B16 category.

Their journey began with a 3-0 win over Nacka FC, powered by a Shamsu Mustapha hat-trick, while their Swedish opponents were reduced to nine men.

They kept their form in the Round of 16, defeating Josh Evans Soccer School 4-2—Mustapha and Fawaz Salami both bagging braces.

In the quarterfinals, it was Salami again alongside Ezeikel Oshofowokan who delivered the goals in a tight 3-2 win over Stjarnan 1.

The Eagles will now face Lørenskog IF 1 in the semi-final at the Bravida Arena, aiming for a spot in yet another Gothia Cup final for Nigeria.
