Philip Azango delivered a standout performance over the weekend, scoring to inspire Spartak Trnava to a commanding 3–0 away win over Železiarne Podbrezová in the Slovak Super Liga.
Azango netted the second goal as Trnava secured victory in the Round 8 Nike League Championship group clash at the ZELPO Aréna, Footballrover reports.

The 28-year-old winger has now recorded two goal involvements in his last three matches.
His latest strike was his third of the season, taking his total contributions to eight in 31 appearances across all competitions.
He has also registered two assists in the league and added two goals plus one assist in the UEFA Conference League.
Azango featured for 71 minutes before being replaced by Idjessi Metsoko as Trnava comfortably saw out the game.
The visitors took control early, opening the scoring in the 12th minute through Roko Jureškin.
Azango doubled the lead 26 minutes later with a composed finish, giving Trnava a 2–0 advantage heading into halftime.
Just after the hour mark, Miloš Kratochvíl set up Luka Khorkheli to seal the win and secure all three points.
The result lifts Spartak Trnava to third place on the table with 53 points, with two matches left to play this season.
Abubakar rescues Famalicão with late goal vs Benfica
Umar Abubakar also enjoyed a decisive outing, coming off the bench to score and help Famalicão secure a 2–2 draw against Benfica in their Liga Portugal Round 32 clash.
With his side trailing by two goals, the 20-year-old forward made an instant impact at the Estádio Municipal 22 de Junho.
Introduced in the 72nd minute in place of Simon Elisor, Abubakar needed just six minutes to score his second goal of the season in 21 appearances.
Benfica had taken early control, with Andreas Schjelderup converting a penalty in the 12th minute after a foul on Ivanović.
Seven minutes later, Richard Ríos doubled the lead with a strike that deflected off a Famalicão defender into the net, giving the visitors a comfortable cushion at halftime.
However, the momentum shifted after the break. Mathias De Amorim pulled one back for Famalicão shortly after the hour mark to spark a comeback.
Abubakar then completed the turnaround in the 78th minute, tapping in from close range after a well-delivered corner by De Amorim to earn his side a valuable point.
The result keeps Famalicão in fifth place with 52 points, while Benfica remain second with 76 points, with two games left in the season.
