Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has maintained impressive form since joining Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid, grabbing another assist to inspire his team to a commanding victory over Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Lookman came off the bench to provide his side’s third goal of the encounter as they defeated the visitors 4-1 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, Footballrover reports.

The Nigerian international, who scored in the first leg against the Belgian Pro League side in a 3-3 draw, delivered his first assist in the competition for the club in the reverse fixture.
Just six minutes after coming on to replace Alex Baena, Lookman made an immediate impact.
The forward now has six goals and three assists in seven appearances across all competitions.
He has scored one goal in La Liga, two goals and two assists in the Copa del Rey, and one goal and one assist in the Champions League.
His outstanding form has made him look unstoppable since leaving Atalanta during the winter transfer window.
Atlético Madrid secured a dominant victory over Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League knockout play-off second leg, winning 7-4 on aggregate.
Alexander Sørloth was the star of the night, scoring a clinical hat-trick after capitalising on weak Brugge defending.

The hosts opened the scoring in the first half through Sørloth’s smart hold-up play and sharp finishing.
Brugge responded well, equalising when Joel Ordóñez converted from a corner after an earlier defensive mistake.
The visitors nearly took control before halftime, but goalkeeper Jan Oblak produced key saves to keep Atlético level.
Early in the second half, Johnny Cardoso scored his first Champions League goal to restore Atlético’s lead.
Sørloth later sealed the result with two more goals, the first from a Lookman assist and the other from a late corner scramble.
Atlético extended their strong European knockout record and will face either Liverpool or Tottenham in the next round draw. Brugge’s defensive struggles proved costly throughout the match.
