Super Falcons forward Francisca Ordega put in a solid shift on Saturday, coming off the bench to create a goal for Al-Ittihad, but her impact was not enough to prevent their exit from the Saudi Women’s Cup against Al-Qadsiah.
With her side already trailing, the Nigerian international turned provider to drag Al-Ittihad back into the contest, Footballrover reports.

However, they ultimately crashed out by a heavy aggregate margin after the final whistle of the SAFF Women’s Cup quarterfinal at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium.
The 32-year-old was introduced in the 73rd minute, replacing Leticia Nunes, and needed just three minutes to make her presence felt, setting up the equaliser.
Al Ittihad had fallen behind early after Adriana handed Al-Qadsiah the lead barely five minutes into the encounter.
Ordega then combined neatly with Lina Boussaha in the 76th minute to restore parity, although it ultimately proved insufficient to change the outcome.
Saudi Women’s Cup exit confirmed for Al Ittihad
The veteran Super Falcons forward has now taken her season tally to two goal contributions, recording one goal and one assist so far.
However, Al Ittihad fell short of reaching the semifinals after suffering a 5–2 aggregate defeat, following a 4–1 away loss in the first leg.
While Ordega grabbed the headlines with her assist, her compatriot Ashleigh Plumptre was also in action but was unable to prevent the disappointment.
Ordega and her teammates will now turn their attention back to league action, with an away fixture against Al Ula scheduled for Friday.
