A fast, clinical performance from Al-Ittihad saw them secure a commanding away victory, dominating the first half with ruthless finishing before absorbing Al-Hilal’s second-half pressure.

The visitors’ attacking chemistry proved too difficult for the home side to contain early on.

The scoring was opened in the 41st minute when Leticia Nunes finished a well-worked attacking move to give Ittihad a 1-0 lead.

The assist came from Francisca Ordega, whose creativity consistently troubled the Al Hilal defence.

The experienced Super Falcons forward has now recorded three goal contributions this season — one goal and one assist in the Saudi Women’s League, along with one assist in the SAFF Women’s Cup.

Just before halftime, Ittihad doubled their advantage. In the 45th minute, Lamar Mohammad scored to make it 2-0, benefiting from excellent build-up play from Lina Boussaha, who orchestrated much of Ittihad’s midfield rhythm.

Al Hilal made a tactical change at the start of the second half, bringing on Asisat Oshoala for Abeer Nasser.

The substitution injected more attacking energy into the home side’s play, and Oshoala quickly made an impact.

However, Ittihad refused to slow down. Lamar Mohammad struck again in the 64th minute to complete her brace and extend the lead to 3-0, effectively putting the game beyond Al Hilal’s reach.

With that goal, the six-time African Women’s Player of the Year has now scored 16 goals across all competitions this season — including six in the Saudi Women’s Challenge Cup, one in the Saudi Women’s Cup, and nine in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.

The 31-year-old forward has also recorded two league assists and one assist in the Saudi Women’s Cup, bringing her total goal contributions for the season to an impressive 19.

Despite the late goal, Al Ittihad comfortably managed the remainder of the match to secure all three points.
