Joy Omewa Shines in Denmark’s UEFA Women’s Champions League
Meanwhile, Joy Omewa is steadily building her reputation in Denmark, delivering yet another decisive performance for Fortuna Hjorring.
The young forward scored the only goal in Fortuna’s 1-0 victory over Switzerland’s Young Boys during the UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualification Round Single Leg.
Omewa netted in the 58th minute at Stelios Kyriakides Stadium, securing Fortuna’s progression to the next round.
The 22-year-old has now scored in three consecutive games—against Aarthus in the A Liga Women and twice more in the Champions League qualifiers.
With this narrow victory, Omewa and her teammates continue to advance, cruising confidently into the third round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification.
Both Esther and Joy are proving their quality on the field.
