Speaking after Tuesday’s training session at the Lafia City Stadium, the Super Eagles Team B centre-back admitted the encounter would be difficult but emphasised his team’s determination.

“Of course, we know that it will be a tough game against Remo Stars, but I’m confident that we will secure a positive result,” Victor stated as quoted by sports journalist Emmanuel Chinedu.

He acknowledged the visitors’ quality but stressed that playing at home gives Nasarawa United an opportunity to make a statement.

“It is not going to be easy because they’re the league leaders and deserve their respect. But it is an important game for us as well, so we’ll do everything possible to gain the maximum points on Wednesday.”
