Agada, in top form, opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a powerful header off a corner kick from Memo Rodriguez, Footballrover reports.

He doubled his tally just twelve minutes later, capitalising on a cross from Alenis Vargas.

This brings his season total to an impressive seven goals, all scored at home.

However, a defensive lapse by Agada midway through the first half gifted FC Dallas a lifeline.

His misplaced pass found Bernard Kamungo, whose deflected shot resulted in an own goal by SKC goalkeeper Tim Melia.

The second half saw FC Dallas fight back with renewed vigor.

Regular star Petar Musa and Arriola were later introduced into the game in the 56th minute and they both made an immediate impact.

Just barely nine minutes in, Arriola’s key pass found Musa, who slotted home the equaliser with ease.

Just as the momentum seemed to be shifting towards Dallas, Sporting Kansas City struck back.

In the 82nd minute, Rodriguez pounced on a loose ball in the box and fired a shot past the FC Dallas defense to secure the win.

Despite the victory, Sporting Kansas City remain in 13th place in the Western Conference standings.

However, this win marks their third victory in their last four home matches.

For FC Dallas, the defeat further complicates their playoff push, placing them seven points behind the playoff line.

The drama wasn’t over yet, as second-half stoppage time saw a red card issued to SKC’s Zorhan Bassong for violent conduct, reducing Agada and his teammates to ten men.

Sporting Kansas City and FC Dallas will still meet each other on Wednesday night in the US Open Cup quarterfinals, where both teams will clash again in Kansas City.
