Super Eagles’ playmaker, Wilfred Ndidi, was the villain at King Power Stadium as his hasty clearance ensured Aston Villa ran away with a 2-1 victory against Leicester City in their Premier League game.
Wilfred Ndidi, who took over the captain’s armband from James Maddison in the 85th minute of the second half of the match, hastily cleared a dangerous ball out of his team’s 18-yard box.

Bertrand Traore intercepted the ball and blasted the ball into Leicester City’s net for Aston Villa’s second and winning goal in the 87th minute of the second half of the match.
Bertrand Traore had just spent two minutes on the field of play after he substituted Leon Bailey in the 85th minute.
The match had been deadlocked for 86 minutes as each side scored a goal in the first thirty minutes of the first half of the match.
Ollie Watkins scored for Aston Villa in the 24th minute, while Harvey Barnes equalized for Leicester City in the 30th minute of the half.
Patson Daka’s penalty call in the third minute of second-half extra time was cancelled by referee Graham Scott after VAR review.
