Wilfred Ndidi has carved his name even deeper into Leicester City’s history books, reaching a remarkable new milestone for the Foxes despite the huge lingering shadow over their stay in the Premier League.
The Super Eagles star hit the milestone during Leicester’s 3-0 Premier League defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, adding another proud chapter to a journey that began in January 2017, Footballrover reports.
The Nigerian international clocked his 300th appearance for the Foxes during the tough Premier League clash at the Molineux Stadium, a match that saw them leave empty-handed.
The 28-year-old’s incredible journey from the Nath Boys Academy to Premier League stardom with Leicester has been nothing short of remarkable.
Even in the face of relegation heartbreak, Wilfred Ndidi remains a beacon of loyalty and resilience for the Foxes.

Since joining from Belgian side Racing Genk in January 2017, Wilfred Ndidi has built an outstanding career at Leicester City.
His debut came against Chelsea on January 14, 2017, and he has been a midfield general ever since.
Out of his 300 appearances, 217 came in the Premier League, 32 in the Championship, 18 in the FA Cup, 16 in the Carabao Cup, eight in the Europa League, and four each in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League.
He also featured once in the Community Shield.
Beyond the sheer number of games, Ndidi’s contribution has been significant: 18 goals, 21 assists, and countless tackles and interceptions that defined Leicester’s identity during some of their most memorable seasons.
His standout campaign came in 2023–2024, delivering 12 goal contributions across 36 matches.
