Stanley Eguma, the head coach of Rivers United, has revealed that his team will strive to map out tactics to secure all three points against Nasarawa United later today.

In the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 15 encounter in Port Harcourt, both teams will be vying for maximum points.

The Pride of Rivers will host the Solid Miners this afternoon at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, with the game starting at 4pm (NIG).

According to Stanley Eguma;

“No two games are the same. Every match is a different match, its a different ball game. We will try to map out our strategy in order to grab the maximum points.”

Rivers United presently leads the NPFL table by one point after 14 games, with 29 points.

The Port Harcourt outfit are in excellent form entering into this game, having only lost once in 14 games this season, winning eight and drawing five.

In the last three Nigeria Professional Football League games with Nasarawa United, the Wike Boys have collected six points.

Meanwhile, the Solid Miners are now ranked 10th in the table, with 5 wins and 5 draws so far this season, but are coming off a morale-boosting 1-0 win over the Niger Tornadoes on Monday.

When the two teams last played in Port Harcourt on February 8, 2021, Malachi Ohawume and Nelson Esor scored goals to ensure the Pride of Rivers took all three points.

Both sides have faced each other 14 times. Rivers United has won eight games, while Nasarawa United has won six games. There has never been a draw in a match between the two teams.
