Victor Olatunji made a decisive impact for Sparta Prague, propelling them into the Czech Cup final with an impressive performance and a goal against Opava.

The Nigerian forward clinched a crucial goal for Sparta Prague in their away victory against Opava, securing their spot in the Czech Cup final on Wednesday evening, Footballrover reports.

Olatunji’s goal, coming in the 81st minute, sealed a comfortable 2-0 win for Praha at the Stadion v Městských sadech, marking their third consecutive appearance in the final.

The scoring began with Jan Kuchta’s opener for Sparta Prague in the 44th minute, giving the visitors a lead just before halftime.

Then, in the dying minutes of the match, Olatunji, who entered the game in the 68th minute, wrapped up Sparta Prague’s victory with his third goal of the competition in four matches.

This latest goal brings Olatunji’s tally to five across all competitions this season, showcasing his prowess in front of goal for the Maroons.

Sparta Prague’s triumph extends their winning streak to three consecutive victories, highlighting their formidable form in the Czech Cup.

Having secured their place in the final, Sparta Prague will await the winner between Plisen and Zlin for the ultimate showdown.

With an impressive track record of 15 Czech Cup titles, including their most recent triumph in 2020, Sparta Prague aims to reclaim the trophy after consecutive final losses in 2022 and 2023.
