Former Enyimba star Victor Mboama has written his name in the history books of Rwanda Premier League by winning the league title with APR FC and finishing on a high note with his goal contributions.

APR FC, the record champions, were presented with the title on Sunday, May 12, after a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Amagaju at Kigali Pele Stadium, Footballrover reports.

The army side, APR FC, amassed 68 points and went unbeaten in 30 games, winning 19 and drawing 11 times.

This impressive feat marks their second time finishing the league campaign unbeaten.

They achieved this first under coach Adil Mohammed Erradi during the 2021/22 season.

The former NPFL star played a crucial role in APR FC’s success, scoring 15 goals and finishing as joint top scorer.

His impressive performance earned him a spot in the history books, making him a top star in Rwandan football.

The match against Amagaju was a thrilling encounter, with both teams creating scoring opportunities.

APR FC’s Fitina Omborenga scored the equalising goal in the 58th minute, cancelling out Amagaju’s lead.

The Kigali Pele stadium was packed to full capacity, with fans cheering on their team.

Musician Chris Eazy also entertained the crowd at halftime, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
