The Nigerian striker’s exceptional performance outshone fellow contenders Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig and Maximilian Beier of Hoffenheim, Footballrover reports
Boniface’s month was marked by a remarkable tally of four goals and one assist, including two braces in Bayer Leverkusen’s emphatic victories over Darmstadt and Heidenheim.
His consistent contributions have not only solidified his position as a key player for the team but also earned him a nomination for the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for the second consecutive time.

Having joined Bayer Leverkusen from the Belgian Pro League’s Union St. Gilloise earlier this summer, Boniface’s seamless transition and stellar performances have seen him become the new star of Bundesliga.
His impact extends beyond club level, as he recently represented the Nigerian national team in their 2-2 draw with Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia during an international friendly.
Despite an unfortunate own goal ruling denying him his first Super Eagles goal, Boniface’s debut with the team last month showcased his potential, as he secured an assist in Nigeria’s victory against Sao Tome and Principe.
