Tyronne Ebuehi found the back of the net on Friday night but couldn’t stop his side, Empoli, from falling to a narrow away defeat against Atalanta in their Serie A clash.
Tyronne Ebuehi gave Empoli the lead against Atalanta in the first part of the game, but goals from Marten de Roon and Rasmus Højlund managed to secure the win and all three points for the Gian Piero Gasperini side.
Ademola Lookman was also part of the Atalanta team that defeated Empoli but had less of an impact and only managed to reward himself with a yellow card in the 84th minute of the clash.
The Super Eagles man only featured for 14 minutes for Atalanta after coming in the 76th minute to replace Giorgio Scalvini.
Tyronne Ebuehi, who has banged in two goals and one assist this season, will be looking to pick up their setback along with his teammates in their next fixture against Lecce on April 3.

While Ademola Lookman and his team will be looking to build on the winning momentum when they face Cremonese next on April 1.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old right-back, Tyronne Ebuehi, wasn’t called up to the last Super Eagles team that will be facing Guinea-Bissau in AFCON qualifiers.
Jose Peseiro released a list of 23 players for the Africa Cup of Nations Group A qualifying doubleheader against Guinea-Bissau next week, with the defender missing on the list.
