The names of two players who are expected to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window have been revealed by transfer expert – Fabrizio Romano.

In the forthcoming summer transfer window, Manu Kone of Borussia Monchengladbach and Romeo Lavia of Southampton are both targets for Chelsea, claims Romano.

After having one of their poorest Premier League seasons ever this year, Chelsea will be exploring to improve their squad before the 2023–24 season.

The Blues’ position in the Premier League standings for 2022–2023 is an unexplained 11th place right now.

The West London side will likely use the transfer market to boost their team, especially their midfield, as Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, and Loftus-Cheek are all slated for departure this summer along with many others.

Fabrizio Romano wrote in his Caught Offside column:

“I already mentioned some of the names they like in the last two months, including Romeo Lavia and Manu Kone.“

According to Fabrizio, the decision will be made with the assistance of the new Chelsea coach, most likely Mauricio Pochettino before the start of new season.

“It is not a two players’ race between these two; it is something that is absolutely open.” – Fabrizio said.
