Trans Amadi Professionals FC have done it again — stretching their unbeaten home record with a thrilling 2-1 win over Mobile FC of Lagos on Saturday, June 28th.

The match, played at the famous First Aluminium Pitch in Port Harcourt, proved why Trans Amadi stars remain a force at home, Footballrover reports.
How Trans Amadi professionals kept their unbeaten home record alive
Victor Chukwuemeka fired the Amadi Professionals ahead with a brilliant free kick in the 23rd minute.
The home team came alive again in the 36th minute when Obiorah Okeke (BoT), later named Man of the Match, doubled the lead to seal their unbeaten home streak in style.
Mobile FC managed a consolation goal midway through the second half but couldn’t break the streak.
After the final whistle, club chairman and team captain Mr Saheed Ogunsanya praised the players’ spirit and discipline, which have protected the unbeaten home record for over ten years.
He shared that Trans Amadi Professionals FC also support the less privileged and help young players build their football dreams.
Coach Pius Anyim, who proudly guards the home record, highlighted that Trans Amadi Pros are strong away too but have vowed to make the First Aluminium Pitch — the ‘Stadium of Victory’ — a nightmare for visiting clubs.
Mobile FC plan rematch to break TAP FC home record
Despite the loss, Mobile FC left Port Harcourt with determination, promising to arrange a rematch in Lagos.
But for now, TAP FC have shown once again why their home record remains one of Nigerian football’s toughest walls to break.
