Southampton stunned Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur with a 3-2 defeat at home on Wednesday night in an extraordinary end-to-end affair.
Southampton won the game, and you can’t blame them for taking three points away from home during the Premier League clash.
Spurs appeared to have done it when Son scored to make it 2-1, and it appeared like the away side would have to lament their squandered opportunities.
But fortune smiled at then and things turned around in the blink of an eye after two crosses from Ward-Prowse from saw Elyounoussi and then Adams head home to grab the win.

And when Bergwijn thought he has grabbed a point at the death, VAR steps in to save Southampton’s blushes.
Southampton will be overjoyed with their display, as well as the three points. Broja was a force to be reckoned with, and Ward-Prowse displayed his typical technical prowess.
Tottenham, on the other hand, only displayed their brilliance during certain aspects of the game and were utterly outmatched by their opponents at other moments.
