Football Manager is slowly but steadily becoming one of the most popular chill-out games, the next big thing after Netflix. Many Nigerians, including myself, are progressively becoming addicted to the game. Lol..
Nigerian football Managers devote significant amount of time to play the game, with so much zeal and dedication that the Sega simulation game is fast becoming a cult.
But something continues nagging at my mind, so I decided to look into it. How many Nigerian football managers are patriotic enough to include Nigerian players in their squads?
Are they really so solid, eye-catching, and good to buy or sign in Football Manager, given that the majority of these stars play abroad?
So, we’ve decided to ask other Managers on Twitter, but this time, we’d like to know the top 5 Nigerian players they can easily purchase or sign throughout all of their saves.
Using the scouting filter, over 79 Nigerian players were discovered in Football Manager 2020, with Samuel Chukwueze being the most highly ranked and the only player with the greatest value, followed by Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, and Okechukwu Azubuike.
It’s a little different in Football Manager 2021, as the number of players has climbed from 79 in the previous year to 91 in the 2021 scouting filter.
This means that twelve new players have been introduced, with Wilfred Ndidi being the most highly rated and the sole star with the highest value, followed by Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho.
In order to find the best Nigerian players, we ended up asking football managers for a list of their top five players.
These are the most talented players in Football Manager. Some of them will be quite costly, but they will be the best deal you can find.
Samuel Chukwueze
Villarreal winger, 22-year-old rising star Samuel has a wide range of potential ability, ranging from 150 to 180, and has the potential to be one of Football Manager’s top wide players.
In FM21, the Nigerian winger has speed, flair, and talent on the right wing.

Victor Oshimen, Noni Madueke, if you are in a midtable team then consider samuel Chukwueze

Victor Osimhen
Victor Osimhen, an all-around striker and everyone’s favourite top man, is up next. Osimhen has only made 17 international appearances at the age of 23, but with a potential rating of 154, he appears destined for more.
With outstanding pace, aerial presence, and a fierce edge, the Napoli striker has all-round skill. When you combine Victor’s skill, maturity, and goal-scoring ability, it’s no surprise he fetches a high cost.
According to @D_WarEagle
I did a Naija save at BVB, well, let me say the best Nigerians you can sign an Osimhen (a beast), Ebere Eze and Chidozie Awaziem.

Here is one tough Super Eagles defender, who is on loan from Boavista to Turkish side Alanyaspor. At the defensive line, the 25-year-old Enugu native is a tough nut to crack.
Ademola Lookman
The 24-year-old Leicester City winger, on loan from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, is a standout player you should have in your team. He can’t wait to make his Super Eagles debut against Ghana in the World Cup Qualifiers playoff.

Akinkunmi Amoo
This 19-year-old midfielder for F.C. Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga is the latest hot cake in town. Recently called to the National team to represent Nigeria, Amoo is one youngster to sign in your Football Manager team.
Amoo and Madueke na hot prospects, can’t say for Lookman though,β Charles added.

We would have loved to include Noni Madueke and Eberechi Oluchi Eze on this list, but the duo, who play for PSV in the Eredivisie and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, are yet to express interest in representing Nigeria.
I’m sure a lot of you are anticipating names like Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi to be on this list. Oh well, perhaps in FM22 review, as this is based solely on FM20 and FM21.
