The top ten most popular football jerseys in Europe have been confirmed, and the top seller is a bit of a surprise.
Bayern Munich has led the list for 2021, amid Lionel Messi’s high – profile switch to Paris Saint-Germain and Cristiano Ronaldo’s huge Manchester United move.
According to a survey conducted by Euromerica Sport Marketing, the Bundesliga outfit sold 3.25 million jerseys from January to December 2021, 200,000 more than any other side.
Real Madrid was the second-highest seller in Europe, with 3.05 million shirts sold.
Four Premier League teams also made it into the top ten, with the Jürgen Klopp side winning the title of best-selling English outfit ahead of Manchester United, Thomas Tuchel Chelsea, and Man City.
The Reds were ranked third overall, with Ronaldo’ Man United left in fourth place.
