Two Nigerian stars, Terem Moffi and Ehije Ukaki, delivered impressive performances on Wednesday evening, stealing the spotlight in OGC Nice’s thrilling 3-2 win over Sheffield United in a preseason friendly.

From comeback goals to smart finishes, the pair displayed their skill, confidence, and finishing power that thrilled fans in the end, Footballrover reports.
Terem Moffi’s Comeback Sparks Nice’s Turnaround
Moffi, still hoping to hit top form after a tough injury-hit season, fired a stunning goal to give Nice the lead, while the exciting 20-year-old Ukaki made his mark with a brilliant equaliser.
It was a night where both Nigerians reminded everyone why they’re ones to watch this season.

The match began with Sheffield United drawing first blood just before the half-hour mark.
Gus delivered a well-placed corner that found Tyrese Campbell at the far post, and he made no mistake, slamming the ball into the back of the net.
But just before halftime, Morgan Sanson struck back for Nice, making it 1-1 with a clean finish that gave the French side some momentum heading into the break.
That momentum carried into the second half, and just 23 minutes in, Moffi made his presence felt.
The 26-year-old striker received a pass on the break and curled a beautiful left-footed strike into the net, putting Nice 2-1 ahead and marking his return to form in emphatic style.
Ehije Ukaki Levels It Again with a Cool Finish
Only five minutes after Moffi’s goal, Ukaki made his entrance into the show. Following excellent work from Cannon, Ukaki found himself in the perfect spot, displaying great composure and balance as he slotted the ball home for the equaliser.

It was a moment of real quality from the young Nigerian winger, who is quickly building a reputation for himself.
Just when it looked like the match might end in a draw, fate intervened. In the 80th minute, Harrison Burrows accidentally turned the ball into his own net, gifting OGC Nice the winning goal and completing the five-goal thriller.
What’s Next for Moffi and Ukaki?
With this morale-boosting win under their belts, Terem Moffi and his Nice teammates will now shift focus to a crucial Champions League qualifying clash against Benfica.
For Ukaki and Sheffield United, the attention turns to the Championship season opener against Bristol City on Saturday, August 9.
The young winger’s performance against Nice will give the manager and fans plenty to be excited about.
Both Nigerian stars have proven they’re ready for the new season—and fans should expect more.
