Taiwo Lawal has taken to her social media page to celebrate her recent achievement, banging in a brace for Atasehir Belediyespor as her journey in the Turkish Women’s League is beginning to take shape.

The forward is pulling all the strings as she continues to shine in Turkish women’s football, finding the back of the net twice to save her team from potential defeat, Footballrover reports

Two late goals from the Nigerian forward were all Atasehir Belediyespor needed to secure a valuable point for her team against Gaziantep in the Turkish Women’s League.

In a nail-biting contest against the Gaziantep women’s team, Lawal’s heroics were on full display.

Within a span of 13 minutes, she netted two goals, securing a valuable point for Atasehir Belediyespor in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Lawal’s impact was felt deeply in a game where her team initially struggled.

Down 0-1 after Giovania Domingas Campos broke the deadlock for Asya Spor, Lawal swiftly levelled the score with a magnificent goal in the 81st minute.

Despite a late surge from Giovania with another goal, Lawal remained undeterred.

She unleashed a perfectly executed shot in the 94th minute, equalising the score once again and securing a crucial point for her team.

With this recent feat, Lawal has now tallied an impressive fifth goals in 11 matches within the Turkish league.

Her consistent performances hint at more goals to come in future fixtures.

However, despite Lawal’s exceptional efforts and individual brilliance, Atasehir Belediyespor finds themselves struggling at the bottom of the league table, with a meagre two points from 11 matches.
