The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers are heating up with exciting match-ups as the Super Falcons of Nigeria will now be looking set to face Cape Verde in the second round of qualifiers.
Cape Verde secured their spot in this round by defeating Liberia 6-2 on aggregate over two legs.
They dominated the first-leg 3-0 at home and clinched a 3-2 victory in the return fixture in Monrovia, setting the stage for this clash with the Super Falcons.
In the previous round, the Super Falcons had a walkover against São Tomé and Príncipe as the island nation withdrew before the scheduled encounter.

In the previous 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco, the Super Falcons achieved a fourth-place finish.
