Super Falcons debutant Blessing Nkor has declared Paris FC star Chiamaka Nnadozie as the world’s best goalkeeper.
The Gaziantep Asya Spor forward took to social media to celebrate Nnadozie’s performance during Nigeria’s recent international friendly against France, praising her as unmatched in global football, footballrover reports.
This intriguing remark comes after the 2023 CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year delivered a brilliant performance against Les Bleues.
Despite Nigeria suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat to France, Chiamaka Nnadozie’s outstanding impact, including eight crucial saves, left Nkor with no choice but to label her as one of the finest goalkeepers globally.

Nkor’s statement appeared to have overlooked Manchester United’s Mary Earps, who recently won The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award for the second consecutive year.
While Earps was the favourite among national-team coaches, captains, and fans, Nkor insisted that no one compares to Nnadozie.
Nnadozie’s remarkable display at the Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers kept Nigeria in the game against a dominant French side.
Goals from Eugenie Le Sommer and Amel Majri secured the victory for France, while Ifeoma Onumonu netted Nigeria’s only goal.
Nkor, reflecting on Nnadozie’s effort, described her as “the best safe hands in the whole world.”
The 21-year-old forward also took time to express immense pride in representing Nigeria at the senior level.
Recall that Nkor had earlier described her debut as a “dream come true,” thanking God, the Super Falcons’ coaching crew, and her supporters for the opportunity to don the green and white jersey.
As she dreams of continuing her journey with the national team, Nkor reaffirmed her dedication to giving her best on and off the pitch, declaring, “My country, my pride.”
