Super Eagles star Moses Simon is on fire right now, as the Nigerian winger has continued his impressive and red-hot pre-season form with yet another match-winning performance for Nantes against Laval.
The forward netted the winning goal to help Nantes pull off a narrow win over Laval on Saturday night, Footballrover reports.
The Nigerian international was the hero once again as Nantes edged out Laval by a 2-1 scoreline at the Stade Francis Le Basser.
The 28-year-old showed no signs of rust after recovering from a nasty fibula fracture sustained while on Super Eagles duty.
Nantes took the lead through Tino Kadewere before Laval equalised through Kevin Zohi.
But it was Simon who stole the show, converting a penalty in the 60th minute to secure the victory for his team.
This was Simon’s second goal in as many matches, having also found the net in Nantes’ 2-1 win over Ligue 2 side Dunkerque earlier in the week.
The Super Eagles star is clearly back to his best and raring to go for the upcoming Ligue 1 season.
