The Nigerian star wasted no time in showing the Fenerbahce boss what he’s made of, providing a goal as a welcome package, or maybe not, Footballrover reports.

Immediate Impact: Osayi-Samuel Shines for Fenerbahce

Osayi-Samuel’s impressive performance came in a convincing 4-0 friendly win against French side Strasbourg on Saturday.

The full-back played a major role in all four of Fenerbahce’s goals during their impressive first-half performance.

Following strikes from Sebastian Szymanski and Dusan Tadic, Osayi-Samuel provided a crucial assist for Ryan Kent in the 37th minute, extending Fenerbahce’s lead to 3-0.

Edin Dzeko then added another before halftime to seal the victory.

The 26-year-old’s well-rounded performance went beyond the assist. He displayed his defensive strength with two tackles and won six ground duels.

His passing accuracy was an impressive 91%, while he also completed his only attempted dribble.

Osayi-Samuel’s strong performance continues a trend of impressing his new manager, as Mourinho is known for his demanding style, and the Nigerian seems to be adapting quickly.

Mourinho Eyes Another Super Eagle: Terem Moffi

Meanwhile, it seems Jose Mourinho isn’t done yet bringing Super Eagles stars to strengthen his Fenerbahce squad.

OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi is reportedly on the club’s radar as they seek to strengthen their attack.

With Cengiz Ünder, Emre Mor, and Mehmet Nayir already in the squad, Mourinho appears to be looking for a more prolific option upfront.

Moffi’s record of 82 goals in 193 club matches certainly makes him a tempting target.

The 24-year-old’s potential link-up with Mourinho, a manager renowned for getting the best out of his players, could be a significant factor in any transfer decision.

Moffi’s international experience with the Super Eagles, where he has netted four goals in 18 appearances, further adds to his appeal.
