At the ongoing Total Energies CAF AFCON Cote d’Ivoire 2023 Coaches Symposium in Abidjan, Nigeria’s football landscape was well-represented by both current and former Super Eagles’ coaches, Austin Eguavoen and Jose Peseiro.
The two-day event, running from September 12 to 13, 2024, is set to explore the successes of the recent AFCON while strategising on the future of African football.
Eguavoen, the interim Super Eagles coach, and Peseiro, his predecessor, took to social media to express their excitement about the symposium, Footballrover reports.
Peseiro expressed his anticipation for engaging discussions about the growth of African football, the inspiring legacy of AFCON, and the bright future of the sport across the continent.
“Looking forward to meaningful discussions on African football’s growth, AFCON’s inspiring legacy, and the promising future of the sport on the continent,” Jose Peseiro tweeted.
