In the first leg encounter in Lagos, Robo Queens clinched a thrilling 3-2 victory, an outcome that didn’t sit well with Ajibade and her teammates.
Speaking to the club’s media, Ajibade expressed her team’s readiness to overturn that previous outcome at the Onikan Stadium later today.
Despite delivering a commendable performance, the result fell short of their aspirations, which Ajibade hinted at being influenced by various undisclosed factors.
Determined to set the record straight, Ajibade has the assurance that the Sunshine Queens will showcase huge fighting spirit this time around, aiming for a triumphant outcome after the final whistle.
“We are ready to avenge the result of the first leg we played at Onikan Stadium, Lagos. We played very well against them.”
