Heartland FC captain Nnaemeka Anyanwu extends a heartfelt message to fans of the Owerri team, expressing regret for their underwhelming performance in the current Nigerian League season.

The resolute defender reassured fans of the Owerri side that the team is fully committed to turning things around, starting with their upcoming match against Rivers United, Footballrover reports

The defender stated this while speaking to the club’s media ahead of their clash against the former NPFL Champions, Rivers United.

We are sorry about our not-too-good start to the season. We are ready to make amends, and that will start with our game against Rivers United,” Nnaemeka said.

Anyanwu emphasized the need to rectify the errors from their past games and enhance their offensive prowess, admitting that they were more forceful in attack.
