Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has been named Nantes’ Player of the Month for August, following a remarkable performance that saw him play an important role in the team’s strong start to the 2024/25 season in Ligue one.
Simon found the back of the net twice in three Ligue 1 appearances for the Canaries, making an immediate impact, Footballrover reports.
In Nantes’ second league match of the season, a 2-0 victory over Auxerre, Simon opened the scoring just 14 minutes into the game, guiding his team to a dominant display.
He continued his impressive form in their next outing, a 3-1 victory over Montpellier, where he confidently converted a penalty to secure Nantes’ second goal of the match.
