Exceptional defensive skills: Okejepha’s ability to strengthen the defence was a major draw, an area the team admitted they needed so badly for several years.
MVP credentials: His Nigerian Premier League player of the season award for 2023/24 also showed his outstanding performance.
Goal-scoring and playmaking ability: Okejepha’s one goal, three assists, and twice being named player of the month showcased his offensive prowess.
Consistency and adaptability: His inclusion in the best team of the season and twice in the Confederations Cup’s best team of the week highlighted his reliability.
Youth and potential: The East African side also revealed that Okejepha’s age and talent made him an attractive investment for the future.
Simba SC reportedly paid $250,000 for the transfer, with Okejepha set to earn N9 million monthly.
The signing is seen as a significant boost for the team ahead of the 2024–25 season.
