Milan defeated Inter 2-1 in their Serie A derby match on Saturday thanks to a brace from Olivier Giroud in the second half at San Siro.
The league leaders controlled the first half, with Perisic scoring the opening goal after Maignan made outstanding stops to keep Brozovic, Dumfries, and Martinez out.
Milan, on the other hand, completely turned around the contest late in the game, with Giroud scoring twice under four minutes.
He moved in to redirect Diaz’s deflected effort past Handanovic before securing the winnner with a superb spin and low finish.

MilanΒ has moved up to second place and is currently only one point below Inter despite having played one extra game.
The Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio awaits them next.
While Inter’s home unbeaten streak of 28 games comes to an end.
