In a one sided final match on Saturday evening, Senegal’s performance displayed why they are actually the best side on the field of play with goals from Souleymane Mor Faye, and Mamadou Lamine Camara.

Mane Mor Faye towered ahead of three Gambian defenders to head in a cross  from the right flank for the first goal in the 7th minutes of the first half of the match.

Mamadou Lamine Camara scored the second goal in the 56th minutes of the second half to guarantee Senegal another Continental trophy, after final victories in 2021 African Cup Of Nations, AFCON, and 2022 African Nations Football Championship (CHAN).

Gambia’s Silver medal in the tournament is the first for the country after winning U20 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations Bronze Medal  twice in 2007, and 2021.
