Samuel Chukwueze assisted the first goal for AC Milan in their entertaining home league draw against Genoa, Footballrover reports.

The Super Eagles’ star started the match and set up Alessandro Florenzi’s equalising goal in the 45th minute with a beautiful cross.

Despite his efforts, AC Milan were unable to secure a win, with Genoa taking the lead twice and AC Milan equalising each time.

The match saw AC Milan dominate possession and create numerous chances, but they were unable to capitalise on their opportunities.

Chukwueze had a brilliant performance, recording 42 touches, creating five key chances, and also finding the back of the net.

However, his goal was disallowed due to offside, and he was substituted in the 83rd minute.

The draw leaves AC Milan in second place in the Serie A standings, while Genoa remains in 17th place.

Despite the disappointing result, Chukwueze’s performance was a positive takeaway for AC Milan, and he will look to build on this outing in future matches.

Up next for the 24-year-old winger and his teammates is another home game, where they will be hosting Cagliari as he aims to add more assists to the three under his belt already.
