Rovers FC defender Isreal Charlie has expressed huge confidence ahead of his team’s crucial NNL clash against Beyond Limits on Sunday.
The defender has declared his faith in a divine-backed victory and urging fans to remain calm as they look set to host the youthful visitors at the UJ Esuene Stadium.
Charlie, while speaking to Footballrover on Saturday, exuded a quiet confidence about the upcoming encounter, attributing potential success to both tactical preparation and divine intervention.
“Well, concerning our match tomorrow against Beyond Limits, I believe that, by the grace of God, we are going to grab all three points, and I believe we’ll give our best to take all points home,” the defender said.
Beyond the spiritual element, the right full-back also emphasized the importance of composure and focus, particularly for the fans.
“By the grace of God, I believe we’ll have fair weather, and I want our fans to be calm,” he asserted.
The Pride of Cross River will be coming into this clash like a wounded lion, having lost their opening game of the new year to Ekiti United.
The away clash at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium saw the Coach Samson Unanuel side succumb to a controversial narrow 2-1 defeat and, as such, will be aiming to bounce back to winning ways.
Beyond Limits, at the other end, will be entering the game with huge momentum, having won their previous encounter against Dakkada FC by a scoreline of 3-0.

With Rovers currently sitting third in the NNL Conference A table, level on points with their visitors, a win would see them leapfrog the Remo Stars feeder team and regain their spot in second place.
The match against Beyond Limits promises to be a tight affair, with both teams fighting for crucial points in their respective bids for promotion.
However, with Charlie’s faith and the Rovers faithful behind them, the home side will be aiming to claim all three points and continue their upward climb in the NNL Conference A standings.
What would be the outcome of this encounter? Only time will tell.
