Romelu Lukaku scored the game-winning goal as Chelsea cruised to a convincing 3-0 victory over 10-man Leeds United at Elland Road.
Mason Mount curled a wonderful first-time attempt into the top corner with just four minutes into the game to give the Blues the lead in their Premier League match on Wednesday night.
Leeds’ woes were compounded 20 minutes later when Dan James was shown a straight red card for a violent tackle on Kovacic.
Leeds United became the first side this season to receive 100 cards in a single Premier League season with Dan James’ red card, followed by Kalvin Phillips’ yellow card (97 yellows, 3 reds).

After the break, Chelsea increased the pressure, with Pulisic smashing a low shot into the bottom corner to double the lead.
Lukaku then clinched the victory and all three points late in the game for the Thomas Tuchel side by firing past Meslier.
With that defeat, Leeds remain in the relegation zone, level on points with Burnley, despite having played one more game than the Clarets.
