20 teams will compete in the regular NPFL season, which runs until May 14, to earn a spot in the Super 6 playoff, with the last six teams competing for the championship in the Super Six.
The Wike Boys will be meeting the Ortom Boys for the 25th time, as they begin their journey of grabbing a second Nigeria Premier Football League title to their list of achievements.
The Pride of Rivers, who have won three games, drawn one, and lost only one in their previous five encounters, will want to continue dominating their opponents in Port Harcourt.
In their last clash, Rivers United’s Ogoni-born forward – Nyima Nwagua scored the game’s only goal with a strong long-range effort.
